About Me

You could say I have been a trail blazer my whole life.  All that credit goes to my wonderful parents Judy and Bob Jewell.  They would not allow my disability to prevent me from succeeding in life.
I was integrated into the regular classroom gradually in elementary. By the time I got to junior high, I was the first wheelchair bound student to go through the Greenville school system.
During my years at Greenville there were no public buses with lifts, Mom did it all. She made sure I had the proper support system to make sure I did not fall through the cracks. She is why I am where I am today.
After graduating in 1986, I was the first wheelchair user at Montcalm Community Colege. Then I attended Davenport College where I received a BBA in Marketing.
For years I studied the Asian culture and fell in love with how they put family first. I decided to sponsor my lovely wife Liezel from the Philippines in 2015. I am a much better man for doing it.
With the way our world has become the way it is during the pandemic, I have become aware how precious our freedoms are. If I were in about any other country, I’d be terminated pretty much. I feel it is my duty and obligation to protect our freedoms for future generations.

This is way overdue!!  My lovely wife and I moved into our new home in October.  I am very blessed and fortunate to have a house already modified for me!!
